About
Camp Campbell

More Than Basketball

At Camp Campbell, we believe basketball is about more than what happens on the court. It's about building confidence, developing character, and creating opportunities for young athletes to grow both as players and as people.

Through basketball training, camps, clinics, and community experiences, we aim to help young athletes strengthen their fundamentals, develop a love for the game, and learn the value of teamwork, discipline, leadership, and perseverance.

Our goal is to create an environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their potential — on and off the court.

Our philosophy is simple: put in the work, trust the process, and keep growing.

Meet the Founder: Alex Campbell

Camp Campbell was founded by Alex Campbell, a professional basketball player and coach with more than a decade of experience competing and developing athletes at a high level.

Alex currently serves as Lead Assistant Coach and Assistant General Manager of the Winnipeg Sea Bears, as well as Lead Assistant Coach for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies men's basketball team. In 2026, he helped the Sea Bears win their first Canadian Elite Basketball League championship.

As a former professional player, Alex has competed internationally in Spain, Finland, France, China, and Taiwan. His career includes winning the inaugural CEBL championship with the Saskatchewan Rattlers, earning the league's first Finals MVP award, and reaching 1,000 career CEBL points.

Through Camp Campbell, Alex brings his experience, passion for the game, and commitment to player development to the next generation of athletes.

His mission is to help young players build their skills, believe in their abilities, and understand that the lessons learned through basketball can carry far beyond the court.
